Our Mission

At Sandia Animal Clinic, our mission is to provide the highest quality medical care and to educate our clients so that they may make the best decisions regarding the health of their pets.  We aim to treat both owners and pets as family, with respect, honesty, and compassion.

Dr. Conley

Dr. Conley is a graduate of Colorado State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned the Outstanding Small Animal Anesthesia Student achievement award in her senior year. Dr. Conley received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Criminology from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.  Dr. Conley has worked in the veterinary field for over seventeen years, the majority at Sandia Animal Clinic.  In October of 2015, Dr. Conley purchased Sandia Animal Clinic. She looks forward to carrying on Sandia Animal Clinic’s legacy as a family clinic providing affordable and quality medical and surgical veterinary care in the Albuquerque area. Her passion for anesthesia continues to drive her desire for both learning as well as teaching. Dr. Conley loves traveling and spending time with her three naughty corgis, Hawkeye, Dish, and Trapper John and her Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Plum.

Rita Davidson

Rita Davidson joined Sandia Animal Clinic in May of 2001 as a veterinary assistant. She has left several times to pursue other adventures but as family always does, she returned home; this time to stay. She became practice manager in October of 2015 when Dr. Conley purchased Sandia Animal Clinic.  She helps keep us all on track and we affectionately call her mom.  We couldn’t survive the day without her infectious smile and warm hugs. Rita is the glue that holds our family together. Her family includes Gar a Pomeranian, Fia a chihuahua and goofy Finnegan a border terrier/ chihuahua mix as well as her two sons, four grandchildren and her best friend since high school, Frank, her husband.
