A brief history

Sandia Animal Clinic began way back in the 1960’s with Dr. Tim McKenna of Kansas. Dr. McKenna decided to make a home and practice veterinary medicine in Albuquerque. Later, he sold his practice to Dr. Robert Cudney. Dr. Cudney became employer and mentor to our own Dr. Consuela Conley. In 2015, Dr. Conley purchased Sandia Animal Clinic and continues the family veterinary clinic legacy.

Growing with the city

Over the years as Albuquerque has grown, so has our family of patients and clientele. We couldn’t be more grateful. And so we said a bittersweet goodbye to our old, well-loved home because we needed more space (and more parking!) to accommodate our larger family.

Moving in

With much-appreciated patience from our clients who navigated the process with us, we finally made it to moving day. We saw many of you for our open house. We enjoyed guiding tours of our new building, answering questions, showing where we treat your beloved dogs and cats, and explaining about the equipment and the processes we use.

Once again, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our clients for allowing us to care for your pets.
